Call for Proposals

Technology-Enhanced Language Learning International Conference
November 13–14, 2026 · Online via Zoom
Virtually hosted by the University of Wyoming, USA

Proposal submission deadline: October 25, 2026

From Innovation to Impact:
Reimagining Technology-Enhanced Language Learning

Following the success of TELIC 2023, 2024, and 2025, we warmly invite researchers, educators, teacher educators, students, and practitioners worldwide to submit proposals for TELIC 2026.

TELIC was established to make high-quality international scholarly exchange accessible to all. The conference is entirely free for both presenters and participants, creating opportunities to share research and innovative practices without the financial, travel, or visa barriers often associated with international conferences.

In 2025, TELIC welcomed participants from more than 65 countries. This year marks the first edition virtually hosted by the University of Wyoming.

This year’s theme

TELIC 2026 focuses not simply on new technologies themselves, but on what evidence tells us about their meaningful impact on language learning and teaching. We invite contributions that connect innovation with learning outcomes, sound pedagogy, and the experiences of teachers and learners.

We welcome research and practice-based proposals exploring how established principles of second language acquisition, task-based language teaching, and language teacher education can inform the use and evaluation of technology.

Topics of interest

Topics include, but are not limited to:
• Evidence of impact in technology-enhanced language learning
• Human-centered approaches, learner agency, and teacher decision-making
• Artificial intelligence, VR/AR, and emerging tools in language education
• Computer-assisted, mobile-assisted, and robot-assisted language learning (CALL, MALL, and RALL)
• Online, distance, and blended language learning
• Second language acquisition and task-based approaches to technology use
• Technology-based language assessment and feedback
• Language teacher education and professional development
• Equity, ethics, accessibility, and global perspectives

Presentation format & submission guidelines

Presentations are 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. All sessions will take place online via Zoom.

Please prepare a proposal title, an abstract of no more than 250 words, keywords, and a short presenter biography. Include the presenter’s name, affiliation, contact email, country of residence, workplace type, and professional role.
